Description

**This share is only available to Denver Botanic Garden members, in conjunction with a DBG veggie CSA**
Make Colorado fruit season part of your friends’ & family’s food traditions by enjoying a fresh fruit CSA from organically certified Ela Family Farms and East Denver Food Hub.

CSA fruit share members receive 16 weeks and approximately 65 lbs of organic fruit during Colorado fruit season plus Ela Family Farms’ organic fresh apple cider in the fall. Each fruit share suits 2-5 people. Because Ela Family Farms is 1,000 ft higher than Palisade our growing season is a little delayed, meaning fruit ripens later on our farm. Therefore East Denver Food Hub will source the first four weeks of cherries, apricots and peaches from other organic Colorado fruit growers. The later 3/4 of the season’s peaches, apples, pears, and plums will be from Ela Family Farms. If seasonal variability affects the availability of any fruit, we reserve the right to substitute with a different fruit or one of Ela Family Farms’ delicious artisan fruit products of equal value.
